Activity Description

Finally, a city tour of Athens that has it all! Start your day with a guided tour of the Acropolis and a short visit to the Ancient Agora. Take a break at a coffee shop hidden in one of Athens' secret garden in the heart of the city. Walk in the neighbourhood of Monastiraki and Psiri, two of the oldest neighbourhoods of the city and part of Athens during the Ottoman period. Walk on Evripidou Street, Athens' ethnic spices' street, and through the central market. Taste local produce from small producers all over Greek; sample olive oil, honey, cheese, cured meats, wine, vinegar and sweets! Walk in the picturesque streets of Plaka, Athens' old neighbourhood passing by the Roman Agora and the Tower of the Winds. End your day with a lunch in one of Plaka's tavernas' serving delicious, traditional Greek food at the feet of the Acropolis.
