Activity Description

Enjoy one hour or two consecutive hours of windsurfing inside the Varkiza Resort Yabanaki beach, the largest organised sandy beach in Athens, about half hour from the centre of the city.

Activity is suitable for windsurfers of at least intermediate level, who own knowhow of the basics of the sport and who are confident to leave and return without rescue.

Activity Snapshot

Dates | Start Time: Daily (SPRING-SUMMER ONLY), weather permitting | from 10am till 8pm (last 1-hour rental by 7pm). 

Duration: 1 hour or 2 consecutive hours  

Spoken Language: English and Greek. 

Meeting/Ending Point: Yasurfaki bungalow inside Varkiza Resort Yabanaki Beach in Varkiza. 

Pace: Suitable to all windsurfers of at least intermediate level. 

Included: Windsurf board.

Excluded: Entrance to Yabanaki beach (for more information about entrance and opening/closing hours click here), transportation to/from meeting point, any food, drinks, sun-beds, umbrellas, lessons, activities and facilities not stated as included.

Note: Rentals are always subject to suitable weather conditions as determined by the experienced instructors. 

Young Travellers:  Rentals are suitable for young travellers who are of at least intermediate level in windsurfing and who are able to leave and return from the shore without rescue.

Cancellation Policy

Rentals are subject to suitable weather conditions, as determined by the experienced vendor. In case of cancellation due to weather conditions full refund is possible. Otherwise, full refund is only possibly up to 24 hours before the activity. Change of activity date may be accepted at vendor's discretion. Confirmation of weather conditions is usually not possible prior to 24 hours of the activity.
