Yabanaki Beach Information

Yabanaki Beach is the biggest organised sandy beach in Athens, about 30 minutes (depending on traffic) from the centre of Athens, reachable by car, taxi and bus. 

The beach is open from 8am to 7pm every day between June, July and August and from 9am till 5pm in May. During these hours, entrants need to pay an entrance fee (as follows), however visitors are welcome even later (at no entrance fee) to enjoy the bars and restaurants offered inside the Varkiza Resort Yabanaki, often open till late!

Fees apply for entrance at the beach as follows:

Adults - Weekdays: EUR 5 | Weekends and public holidays: EUR 6

Reduced fair (students with student ID card, elderly, children 7-12 years old) - Flat fee: EUR 3.5 

Children up to 6 years old - Free entrance

Simple set - Weekdays: Free | Weekends and public holidays: EUR 10

Premium set (sun-beds with mattress) - Weekdays: EUR 6 | Weekends and public holidays: EUR 12

VIP set (sun-beds with mattress) - Daily: EUR 20
