Activity Description

Enjoy a relaxing day with your very experienced and friendly english-speaking sommelier guide. Taste top quality wines from award winning wineries and meet the winemakers themselves. A perfect getaway from Athens city centre which will be the highlight of your vacation in Greece!

Throughout this outstanding wine tour you will be guided by a dedicated wine expert/sommelier. You will visit together two of the most prestigious and well respected wineries that have proved that the Attica region produces world class wines. You will taste top quality wines from local varieties such as Savatiano, Malagouzia, Roditis, Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko as well as the well known traditional wine, Retsina.

At the first winery, you will have the opportunity to visit both the wine cellars and the vineyard. The whole wine making process will be explained. You will taste four different wines.

At the second winery, you will visit the vineyard and the production line. Together with your expert guide you will try three different wines while attending a multimedia brief presentation of the winery’s history. Thereafter, you will sit for a traditional lunch accompanied with wine selections in a nearby restaurant.

On the way back to Athens city centre you will drive alongside the Athens Riviera, passing by selective stops with scenic viewpoints for gorgeous memory pictures.
