A fantastic day of sailing to Gramvousa historic island and magnificent Balos lagoon, away from the crowds!

Activity Description

A sailing trip on the northeast coast of the island, where participants will enjoy a totally private or semi-private (small group) excursion. The 36-foot-long sailboat will take you from the Port of Kissamos to the deserted island of Gramvousa and then to the Balos lagoon. The yacht sails at 11am. During the trip all participants will be able to test their navigation capabilities or even do some fishing. Depending on the weather conditions, the cruise lasts approximately one and a half hours each way. Once at the destination, you can do some snorkeling, explore nature, go for a walk or just simply relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. During the day, you will be offered home-made savoury snacks (mezedes). After a day full of sun, sea and the impressive island of Gramvousa and Balos, your skipper will sail you back to the starting port; on the way back you can enjoy a soft drink or a beer.

Note: Bookings at least 2 days in advance are necessary. According to port authority and local regulations, guests are required to provide their details (name and passport number) before the cruise. Guests should bring their own towels and any personal items necessary for this boat trip, including sunscreen and jacket in case of wind/cold. Trip is suitable for persons that are comfortable on a sailing yacht.

Young Travelers: Trip is suitable for children comfortable at sea and a sailing boat. Child discount for parties of 4+ persons.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations up to 48 hours in advance. 50% cancellation fee for cancellations performed less than 24 hours in advance; no refund thereafter. Full refund in case of cancellation due to bad/inappropriate weather conditions.
