eBike Tour from the Acropolis to Athens Riviera - Full Itinerary:
Duration almost 4 hours and 30 minutes (24km)
This tour begins by immediately entering into Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian road. "The Long Walk" connects some of the most important sights such as the Acropolis Museum, the 2 entrances of the Acropolis hill, Areios Pagos, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Filopappos hill, Pnyx, the Ancient Agora and Kerameikos.
Leaving the archeological area behind, you will enter the bicycle lane and cycle through popular areas such as Kallithea, Petralona and Moschato which were developed in the late 19th century. Soon you will approach the emblematic New Opera House that will host the National Library as well, an important project sponsored by the Niarchos Foundation.
The ride continues towards the Athens Riviera where you will first encounter a great view of Faliro bay. The esplanade leads to the Naval museum where we will visit the battleship Averof and a replica of an ancient Greek trireme. Then you will enter the imposing marina of Flisvos which hosts some of the biggest yachts.
Cycling on the esplanade, your guide will take you back to the early 20th century when Athenians spent their summer vacation in this area, strolling on the magnificent boardwalk listening to the orchestra in front of Aktaion Palace, a 160-room luxurious hotel which used to operate until the 1970s.
Then you will stop by Edem beach -the first organised beach in Athens since the 1920s- where you will have plenty of time to swim and relax before you start a relaxed ride with your electric bikes back to central Athens.
