Activity Description

Parnassos mountain is beautiful and Delphi, located on the mountain's south side,  is one of the most important and famous ancient sites in the world. 
Your guide, a renowned Greek expert, will drive you from Athens (about 2.5 hours ride) and lead you to Mt Parnassos where your hiking journey of about 4 hours will begin through the mountain's ancient trails towards the archeological site of Delphi. Along the way, you will stop at a sheepfold to enjoy a picnic of fresh local produce.
Upon arrival to Delphi you will have the chance to explore the archeological site and visit the museum. 
In the evening, dinner will be served at your lodging, at the footsteps of Mt Parnassos, where you will stay overnight in a double room at Milias Camps Village.
On the next day, following breakfast, your expert guide will drive you about 45 minutes away from your lodging towards mount Giona. There, your 6 hour hiking adventure on mount Giona will begin towards the 2510m high summit of this extraordinary mountain, off-the-beaten path. 
Interesting fact: Some of the most beautiful and convenient multi-pitch climbing routes in mount Giona have been opened, organised and equipped by your guide, so you're in good hands!

Thereafter, your guide will drive you back to your lodging for a meal and relaxation, before the journey back to Athens.

Note:  Equipment required: Backpack, shoes suitable for trekking or sports, warm jacket, fleece jumper, long trousers, warm cap/hat, water, snacks, extra clothes in case of bad weather and rain. Itineraries may be subject to minor changes depending on weather conditions. 

Young Travellers: Suitable for children over 10 years old, in the mood to hike.
