  • Basic types of artifacts with an emphasis on prehistoric pottery, including identifying and dating specimens.
  • Basic principles of environmental archaeology plus different methods for retrieving environmental data from the sites, including soil sampling and flotation.

Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Marathon. Located near the Prehistoric Cemetery of Vranas, the museum showcases artifacts unearthed in the surrounding area, which date from the Neolithic through to the late Roman Period.
