At a time of physical distancing when Christmas celebrations tet-a-tet are not ‘a thing’ , your host offers a virtual Christmas Wine Class LIVE from Greece which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own space.

You will virtually meet an expert sommelier from Greece and will taste together a hand-picked selection of either Greek wine varieties or international varieties, as you prefer.

This is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon entertaining yourself or your inner circle of wine-loving friends or co-workers; a truly alternative date-night and team-building or team-bonding experience!

How does it work?
Your expert sommelier will be offering a premium wine tasting experience as a 1-1.5 hour face to face online from FaceTime, Skype or Zoom. You can view the experience through your smart tv, your laptop, desktop, tablet or phone!
Your host's goal is to recreate the private tasting experience hosted in Greece, either with Greek varieties or international labels.
As soon as you book your virtual wine tasting experience, you will receive through email instructions of the wine you will need to purchase. The wine is not included in the price of this virtual experience.

What will you learn?
In the online workshop you will learn how to taste and compare.
Together with your host, you will go through the appearance, nose and palate and a guideline of how to pair food with wine, in this case how to pair your Christmas menu . With guidance, you will look at the main food considerations such as salty, acidic, sweet, umami and spicy.
Unlike pre-recorder online workshops, you will be free to interact with your host and ask questions; this is a live and interactive experience! You will have the opportunity to discuss about any wine region in Greece or internationally.
Last but not least, your host will send you a list to choose your Christmas wines and will recommend you some finger food to pari with your wine.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund and cancellation only acceptable 24 hours before the session. Your class can be rescheduled subject to your host’s availability. Once you have joined the session, no cancellations or refund are accepted.
