Activity Description

Your host’s goal is to create a unique experience for you, to leave you with great memories, introduce you to the lesser known ancient Greek wine varieties and share with you her knowledge about wine in Greece and the island of Mykonos.

Guests who are less familiar with wine tastings will deepen their knowledge on how to enjoy wine, will discover their favourite type and will get inspiration and tips how to pair wine and food.

You will also have the opportunity to drink, taste, take notes alongside your professional host and will connect your unique wine tastings with stories behind every wine that you are going to taste.

This experience starts with a private transfer from your accommodation in Mykonos Town to a secret beach location in a relaxed beachside setup. You will unwind on the comfy beach pillows and enjoy the wine, the magnificent view, the sun and the sea listening to an introduction before you start the wine tasting. During the wine tasting you will get the chance to play with the taste, the notes and the aromas and will be served 3 or 5 different types of rare wine varieties not easily accessible in the market. You will enjoy fine local hospitality with some nibbles, Greek cheeses and crackers that pair perfectly with the wine choices. Towards the end of the experience you will have the chance to learn more about Mykonos and get tips from your host before the time comes for your return back to Mykonos.
