Rise, shine and join us on an unforgettable walk under the fresh morning sky. You will meet your friendly local guide at Syntagma Square, where a walk full of fascinating insights into Athens’ history and mythology kicks off!
Watch the ‘evzones’ - the Presidential Guard- outside the Greek Parliament and take a look at the historic area around you, the very core of Athens "downtown". Wander around the flagstone pathways of the aristocratic Plakato discover the Athenians’ favorite hidden gems, as well as iconic landmarks, such as the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates and the Church of St. Nicholas Rangavas. Take in the view of the whole city from the “balcony” of Anafiotika, a hidden island on the slopes of the Acropolis. Get your camera ready for the best photos of your trip!

Walk through the narrow alleys and let your senses be captivated by the smell of the blossomed flowers and the colorful neoclassical houses of the area. Have a refreshing coffee-break in a beautiful café and discover the coffee culture that runs through Greek blood. After your stop, continue your wandering in order to reach the premises of the Roman Agora, with its long porticos and its impressive Gate of Athena. Gaze at the jewel-like Tower of the Winds, where you can experience most of the city's history at a single spot! Our walk will lead you into the buzzing Monastiraki Square, where you can check out the popular flea market, full of multi-colored shops. The walking tour comes to an end in the alternative & colored-by-street-art area of Psirri.
