Customer Reviews
"My three kids, ages 8, 6, and 4, had a fantastic time during their 'Playing Goddess Athens' tour. The activities were both engaging and educational. My kids loved it and name it as one of the highlights of our 2+ weeks in Greece. I brought a book and my husband went off to see more historical sites that wouldn't interest the children. Highly recommend." Kristine H.
Activity Description
In this outdoor workshop, designed exclusively for the young visitors of the city, children are invited to relive the mythical feats of goddess Athena and to be inspired by her figure.
Athena is one of the greatest Olympian deities: patron of the city of Athens, and goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilisation, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill!
An experienced theatrical educator for children drives young explorers to learn and play, with the techniques of theatrical game and storytelling, based on representations of the goddess on ancient pottery and objects.
The workshop takes place in a friendly, quiet and shadowy place, where parents can relax, enjoying the view of a beautiful archaeological site.
